Orlando Magic on the Verge of Winning Game 5

It is looking like the Orlando Magic will again extend the series against the Boston Celtics to game 6. They are up by a large margin right now going into the last 4 minuets into the game. I can't see that the C's will make a move to trim this lead. We look forward for the game 6 where the Celtics will try to end the series in their homecourt or the Magic gaining the momentum and again beat the Celtics that will set up a game 7. The Magic will make history in the NBA if they will win the next two games in the series as the only team to come back from a 0-3 deficit and win the series.

It's about time the Magic would respond and be aggressive. Games 1, 2 and 3, they were sloppy and i can say that Howard is the consistent player in the team. What happen to Lewis? Especially, what happen to Carter? The Magic acquired him to helped them in his leadership and abilities but what did he do? 3 points in a game? What a waste of money on someone who cannot deliver when the time needed him the most.. Might as well re-signed T-Mac again in Orlando..

Lewis stepped up in their game 5 win. He is in the major slump and that game 5 contribution could bring back his shooting touch. I dont think that T-Mac will be re-signed again in Orlando. T-Mac now is not his usual self back from the days that he was playing as a superstar. Injuries was the cause of his game to decline.

It's hard to judge a series that has completely turned around 180 degrees, but it's easy to judge the respective teams. Boston seems to be playing now how the Magic were in game 3. They don't seem to be in it. The only difference I would cite is that the Celtics look tired and beat up, whereas the Magic looked heartless. KG is pouring sweat with 7 minutes left in the 1st quarter. Pierce has no legs to get under his shot - further hurting his set-shot style. Something's wrong with Rondo. Not to knock the Magic, but it's certainly not a change in defensive strategy. Rondo's just not controlling the game, much less the tempo on the offensive end. Even still, the Magic took it to them. The Celtics didn't lose this like in game 4, the Magic won it. They shot a freakish percentage from beyond the arc. Everything they threw up went in. I wouldn't say they won solely based on three-pointers, but every time the Celtics tried to heart their way back into the game, another three-pointer would be fired up at the basket to inevitably go in and switch the momentum. The ball is still in the Celtics' court, literally, and Orlando will have to repeat last night's performance twice in order to take the series. If they play another game like game 4, then you better believe the Celtics will call a timeout and Pierce will not miss 6 shots in a row. But if the Magic can continue to play like they did last night, with EVERYTHING they shoot going in, then the Celtics do not have an answer. They're too worn out to play the crucial defense that needs to be played. Boston has completely abandoned what they did in the first 3 games and they're now trying to outscore the Magic. I still like the Celtics to get a gritty win on Friday, but Orlando is certainly back in the series. They're still not coming with a game plan that's better than the Celtics, but I give them all the credit in the world for pouncing relentlessly on a tired and disenfranchised Celtics team. Okay. I know I rant on and on and on... but now I'd like to blast the officials! Needless calls were going against both teams here. The referees completely destroyed any ability for the Celtics to gain momentum on their own, and, without the lights-out three-point shooting from the Magic, the refs would have taken the wind out of Orlando's sails too. They made some of the worst calls I've ever seen in 20+ years of watching the NBA. And not to even mention that they were making these petty calls in the PLAYOFFS! OMG! lol What did Perkins do to deserve two Ts? Heck, even that first one was an elbow by mistake. And Dwight didn't deserve his T the other night. This is a crying shame. Both of these teams are too good to have the referees dictating the flow on the court. Let both teams play!

Th Magic is back for good. Rondo should assert more effort now that the series is extended in the process that the Celtics looks so tired. Game 6 is a must win situation for the Celtics to avoid that game 7. Game 7 is all much into pressure with the C's will have to face the first team in the NBA playoff losing a series after making 3-0 series lead.
