yes there are. I do know some people like this(as u described). They just spend their salary rather moare than their salary in little time. What i have noticed, such people feel worse after do so. But they just dont learn lesson. After remorse for some time, they do that again. May be they are habitual.

My colleages are like this. They celebrated their first paycheck with a massive celebration. They even invited me and treated me as if i didn't recieve mine as well. I can't believe some people can't control their impulses the moment they earn some good money.

I don't know anyone like that anymore, but I use to. I was a one day millionaire. Of course you have to understand, I grew up poor, with nothing. I use to day dream about the day I could get all the things that other kids in my school got. And buying all the food I could eat. So when I was old enough to get a job I started getting all those things I had dreamed about getting. I got lots of nice clothes, a new sports car, music, gadgets, lots of food. I spent my money as fast as I could get it. But once I got that out of my system I calmed down on the spending. Of course I will still see something cool, and want to buy it. My wife is my voice of reason. She usually talks me out of getting things I don't really need.

Before, I happen to bumped to some of the so called "One-Day-Millionaire". These person do so mainly because they have nothing to care about aside from themselves, or they have some problems , releasing outlet would be to spend the money on everything they want, to forgot even for the mean time those burdens. But with the current financial situations, almost everyone is becoming more tighter in terms of spending specially their hard earned money.
