What will be the consequences of the mayan predictions of the year 2012 Personally I think the disasters have already started, such as earquakes, cyclone droughts, sunami, aircrash, etc.

With the increase in technology and therefore greater exposure to the public of what's going on in the world, it's easy to think that the end times are here. I suppose it's really a matter of faith and what you believe. Personally, I think all the seven seals described in the bible have been broken, and looking around at the state of our world, politically and socially etc., it's prudent to think that we are authoring our own destruction, thereby bringing biblical and other cultural beliefs true. But I also believe that as 'children' of a higher power, there is more to our purpose here than self destruction and that end times or no, the human race will survive. We'll see................

My daughter just came by the other day and told me the reason that the Mayan calendar only went through 2012. They ran out of rock. But in all seriousness, I neither believe, nor do I disbelieve.

I really don't believe in this end-of-the-world hype. It's just one big prank. People love controversies and stories that will thrill them from time to time and this story does the trick.

I do not believe in these predictions. They have made many predictions and few of them were true but why to stop living the moment because of fearing for future. If they know that much and able to predict why they do not predict plane crash, natural problems like Volcano, flud and other things.

I personally believe no one can predicted the end of the world, because I believe no one know. I hear the story at year 2012 will be sun storm but its not mean the end of the world, maybe just few disaster and we have to set our self to prepare for the worst.

what do think that the predictions on 2012 would come true? =( im not a fan of predictions but the only thing that bothers me is that Nostradamus is a famous in it and some of his predictions are true and that makes me sad=( i hope the precitions on 2012 would not come true as predicted.. i hate to see the end of the world because i want to live more and be happy.

I don't believe at mayan predictions. Only God knows everything include the end of the world. The end of the world surely will come, but when? Only God knows it.

I don't believe the prediction at all.just the same like the prediction of notradamus.the disasters? Our planet is getting old and sometimes its due to what we human did.about the end of the day.No ideas.God knows better than us.:)
