what flavours are unique to your area or country?

here in the philippines, there are many flavors of ice cream. many new flavors come out. we also have moringga (a vegetable locally known as malunggay) flavored ice cream. there is also chili pepper flavor. i wonder if it's spicy cause i haven't tried it.

Here in the Philippines we have lots of unique ice cream flavor like yema, pandan, brazo de marcedez, pinipig, sweet corn, and a lot more you should try some.

My husband says that down south, they don't have soft ice cream, so I guess soft ice cream is unique to the north. We have farmers' markets that have special one food celebration days. Like garlic day and for that one day, you can have garlic ice cream. I would think in the Saskatoon area that Saskatoon berry would be a unique flavor that people don't have. We have maple flavored ice cream that not every area has. That's all I can think of right now.

Ooh, I love moose tracks... Let's see, there's chocolate, strawberry, vanilla... Well seriously, I have no idea if there are any ice cream flavors that say "California".

Sampaguita ice cream is something like your jasmine flower. I couldn't eat it because the fragrance of our tiny, immaculately white national flower comes to mind. It costs around 70 pesos per scoop in Intramuros, Manila. But to the Caucasian tourists trapped by the heat, the sampaguita ice cream was a best seller.

In the UK (I live in the North West) we have a fantastic Ice Cream shop called Wallings, which has MILLIONS of flavours which aren't only related to england!! Cheesecake, toffee crunch, eton mess, ginger nut, rainbow! :)
