I've had a Queen Elizabeth rose in a small corner between my front and back door for 2 years. Well last summer the morning glories climbed up all over the cage I put around the roses (the rabbits love to much on my roses) and I think they deprived it of alot of light though it did bloom a few times. And of course it's a favorite spot for my dog to do his business to my dismay and I think that his #1 sealed it's death :0(
Since my morning glories are the lone survivors in this small pie shaped 36x24in wide spot. Is there anything I can do to help them keep on going despite the dog beyond adding to the soil, rerouting the dog if possible, water them alot ?

It's all about you isn't it ! *LMAO*
I would like to get the dog into his back tie out, but getting hubby to get that back corner cleaned out for him to have enough space would be key. Then he can be a PITA outside.

I don't suppose you have a Wolfson rose there anywhere?

I have an unfixed male & it can kill grass but not as badly if they are well hydrated.

i honestly hate morning glories-i can't get rid of them!they are out of control in my area and strangle everything if you don't remove them.

3snuggle bunnies morning glories will survive anything as they were once a weed called hedge
bindweed that suffocated a lot of farmers crops. do not worry about morning glories they are really tough compared to roses and other fairly hardy flowers. just give them some water and sun and they are always happy.

Yes they are usually happy, sometimes a lil too happy! *LOL* I also get some weed that's seedlings look like a morning glory but I dunno if it's a variation of Ivy or ?? because it has the similar heart shaped leaves but til it's bigger than you realize it's not he same because as the plant matures you can see the others are narrow & does not flower.
I hope just keeping up with watering them will be enough.
