My dog's name is beau, but he gets called beauface, beaubaby, beauseph, beausephus and all sorts of nicknames. I wonder why we do this to our pets. They just seem to get more nicknames than people do.

Oh my goodness, we have so many. Our dog's name is Jessie, but we call her Jessibell, cherub of love, pookie, snorty, woof-woof, the furry kid and probably more but I don't remember. She's a member of the family. (:
