our reunion wasn;t what i expected...

no it is not a party. but rather my reunion with my 14 month old daughter. she had stayed with her grandparents for two whole days without me. they took care of her and slept with her. my mother said she did not fuss while there however, it seems she was constantly looking for me throughout the day. i was supposed to join her there the other day but because of the sudden typhoon i was not able to go. yesterday i went there, and from the time i got home in the afternoon until the next day, she kept crying. some times she had tears, sometimes she didn't, so she was more like whining to me. she slept early but woke up around dawn and couldn't go back to sleep again. it was the first time. and throughout the night, she kept whining. the next day, she had cough already because of the phlegm produced by crying. it was really awful. we were both so tired because of lack of sleep. but i could not do anything. so instead of leaving her 1 more night there and picking her up tomorrow, we decided to come home tonight. and she would not leave my side. and she would not let me out of her sight. anyway, were are back together again now. hhehe and she is sound asleep. how about you? have you also been separated from your kids like that? take care all and God bless you!
