I used to live in a rooming house situation where we shared a kitchen and refrigerator. I learned real quick not to buy more food than I could eat in 1 day or people would take it. It pissed me off that I couldn't shop for a few days at a time. If you thought the strawberries were your dad, it's fine to eat some, but if you didn't know who's they were, it was wrong. They belonged to the roommate and you had no right to take them without permition.

Well, if that is her strawberry, I won't even consider touching her stuff. Because that is your dad's roommate, and she pay for those strawberries, and she has the right to let you have it or no. So, let it go.

Hi, stevman. Your dad's roommate is very stingy and greedy. taking 7 strawberries is not going to kill her. She already have 2 or 3 boxes already. She could at least share with you all. My 1st cousin acts like she does not want me to eat at her house sometimes. She has plenty of food to go around, but she does not offer me anything. It does not matter how hungry or thirsty that I may be. She just want it all for herself. Did she get mad that you all took her strawberries without asking for them? Is that why she went off in a rage??

This is really bad, well I know some people like to eat them a lot,now forbidding someone to eat two ten out of only one box is not to be forbidden too. Now I think you should have asked about the owner of the fruit too to do not hear something like this.

I share everything with my kids and grand kids, but I can have a case of Pepsi and I will make noise if anyone touches a can. If you brought something special for yourself, it should be respected. Price is secondary.
