What's going on with you for this wonderful 3 day weekend?

hi34 momma I really do not have any plans, no cookout, no family but my son who is coming to see me tomorrow.I am in a retirement center, boring place, they may have a celebration today. I feel ill this morning so am just relaxing and mylotting, and maybe sneaking in a nap, if I feel like it I am not much of a nap taking person.

I hope to not really do anything, but sit at home and probably do some bills, which isn't fun but in the end is reality and we all must do it to live. I am Happy to be having a three day weekend but then again not because im not working on Monday and would like to be working to have a full paycheck next week, but oh well i guess. Life is waht it is. It will be nice to sleep in on monda and not rush around in the morning getting ready for work and i will probably end up cleaning around the house anyways. It will be nice to clean the house and get organized around the house. We might have some people over and BBQ and have a little cookout and have fun with family and friends.

Hubby and I are going to South Carolina to see a family that we knew when hubby and him were in the army. His daughter is pregnant and having a baby shower today but we're going down there tomorrow instead. Today I'm going shopping to get some things for her baby. Gonna spoil 'him' rotten! lol

I have loads of gardening to do if the weather is nice, and then we're going out for a very belated birthday meal for my fiancee with his mum. Looking forward to that :) Apart from that I'm just relaxing. Enjoy yours!

Nothing much. Just more work to be done. Thats it. I have about two more weeks before my finals and I still have two reports to submit and one more assignment due next week so this three day weekend is actually a really nice breather. I would have more time to do my assignments then.

Our entire family is planning for a short vacation in an island this weekend. We are going to make the most out of our time since june is fast approaching and the school year is about to start here in a couple of weeks. Enjoying the last days of summer is our priority.

As it is my birthday tomorrow, I'm doing a bunch of things. First, I'm going to a rally against the insane Arizona immigration policy. Then I'm taking the bus to Amherst and getting free ice cream at Barts for my birthday. Then I'm going to shave my head. I got a pair of buzzers from Freecycle. After that, I'm probably going to go out to dinner with my PCA and listen to more of James Harriott. I think that will be a lovely birthday. Additionally, I'm going to try to figure out what's going on with hiring a new worker. And if I have enough money left over on Monday, I'm probably going to have another ice cream because it's Memorial Day. Maybe I'll also go to the parade. I don't know.

I'm working most of it myself but that is ok. I may get some food Monday and cook. I don't mind. or do some reading and sleeping up. do some video watching and all; not so much.

Hubby and I have all three kids this weekend so at the beginning of the week I decided to book five spots for lazer tag. My son's birthday party was on the 15th of this month and we wanted to go play lazer tag that day but when we phoned they were booked until 11pm so we're going tomorrow instead. My son goes to his dad's every second weekend and hubby's kids come here when my son's weekend is with me. I think that's the highlight of the weekend for us though. Take care

We had our long weekend last weekend. MAY 24!! We call it. It is actually Queen Victoria's birthday, but everyone just calls it MAY 24!!! It is the first long weekend of the year. Well, the first real one, anyway. Except our gov't made a new one in February, called "Family Day". Weird, eh? It was just to break up the monotony of winter and give everyone something to look forward to. Anyway, we had a bit of a BBQ party. Had 3 other couples over and had a blast on Sunday evening, because Monday was the holiday. The rest of the time was spent getting the gardens finished up somewhat, planting our nursery purchased vegetable plants and such, and generally trying to relax as much as possible because we've been having this wicked heat wave, that is more like mid-summer for the past week.

I will be going to my mom's house this weekend and laying on the pool deck and swimming. Then Memorial Day were having a family picnic/cookout. Will be a nice relaxing/fun weekend! Hope you enjoy you're 3 day weekend.

I'll be attending a birthday party this saturday evening. My friend is having his 25th birthday. It'll mostly be booze and band sessions so i'll probably be too tired the next day. I'll probably just get up at 2 or 3 in the afternoon to go to attend mass.

Im hoping that this weekend turns out to be nice considering the rain that we are supposed to get. I have family coming in from out of town. I am excited because I will have to of my nieces here to stay a week with me and my lovely son. There is going to be lots of eating, talking, loving, and of course swimming!!

i am in canada and we had a long weekend last weekend. we went shopping at a outlet mall, walked on the beach and on the monday, went to a town that has town wide garage sales. (oh and watched a lot of fireworks in my neighbhourhood too!)
