Aside from falling asleep,why is there a day and a night? / myLot

There are a lot of theories involving why there is a day and a night,just as we became sleepy and awake.I know that God is so powerful and very mysteriously clever,that he made earth rotate its axis to have a night and a day,yet He can also make no more nights,just all days shining,and we can still sleep,relax,have fun,work or play.It is also possible that God may change the light,and there are no more lights from the sun,yet we still has a light from the electricity,and still we can go to sleep and wakes up.Please think of other scenarios,why we have a day and a night? Anyone from the community ever think anything about the discussion?

My only thought is our body needs to rest. When we sleep our brains does REMs. There is a physiological reason for this. I don't know the scientific language, just that it is necessary. In countries where the rotation of the earth (i.e. the state of Alaska) they have a higher crime rate during the all daylight part of the year. I do believe that God planned the universe.

Thank you very much for the response.I agree with your opinion,yet we can not avoid the consequences it brought,when there is always light every time,that the crime rate in your area goes up,I am very sorry for the bad situation.I just hope for the goodness of all humanities in this planet.I also wish that even if we have a daylight in the evening,that the surroundings are safe and sound,that we can sleep in peace whatsoever,that God provides us with all the great blessings that man can conquer,not just good harvest,good living,but also good place to live in,no more wars between nations,that there is everlasting peace.
