Flowers are not only beautiful to look at. They are decorative, fragrant and brings great joy and happiness to most people who receives it. Flowers are used to relay a wide range of messages to express love, thoughfulness, gratitude, condolences or even for marriage proposal and worshipping purposes. However, in your opinion is buying flowers a waste of money?

In my opinion, spending money on flowers for worship, or on special events are not a waste of money. It's one of the way to express our respect, gratitude or love. There is nothing if we choose to make our expression through giving away flowers.
However, I have read articles about the negative effect of flower cultivation. They were sprayed with pesticides and preservatives and these are harmful to both the cultivators, the sellers or the buyers who handle them with bare hands.
Since I only buy the flowers occasionally, and thus do not have much concern on such bad side effect.
