Tiger Woods, a famous celebrity is venturing into a new car industry producing electrical cars, according to a news report. I would think he will be successful in this new advanced car technology as electrical cars could be more convenient and efficent than our present cars. Would you prefer electrical or petrol operated cars?

Electrical cars is a very good idea in helping man kind to battle against global warming. We can minimize our dependency on fossil fuel and thus reducing the CO2 emission. I haven't tried driving an electrical car. I believe it's giving us a good driving experience due to its stable and less noisy engine. Besides, it doesn't emit poisonous gas. There are draw back though, where the maximum speed and mileage per charge is lesser compared to the one of gasoline driven vehicle. But still I prefer to drive electrical car if it's available in my country. Besides, I believe that it's an industry full of potential in the future, by looking at the whole world's trend moving towards this green technology.

Thanks so much, cheongyc for such an excellent reply. As I was drafting this topic, it didn't crossed my mind about electrical cars reducing emission of CO2 and monoxide and helping mankind's battle against global warming and fossil fuel dependency. I am indeed more convinced and impressed with the electrical cars now. Although, such cars may have limited speed capacity and mileage, I believe it will help in reducing road accidents due to speed driving. Well done, cheongyc. You will make the best salesman for the electrical cars.

You are most welcome and thanks for your compliment about my qualification to be the best promoters for electrical cars. The electrical cars are running on batteries. Thus, we can convert any kind of renewable energy from wind, sun light, oceanic wave or even geothermal energy into electrical energy and store it inside the batteries. That's how we can reduce the dependency on traditional fuel ie coal and gasoline. Unfortunately, our government seems like having less interest in developing this green technology which is beneficial to all man kind on Earth. I will be among the first few who an electrical cars if they are available in our domestic market.

Well, I am just giving credit where credit is due. You are knowledgeable. I think the electricals cars will be designed with hi-tech batteries which are automatically recharged by itself as we are driving. It's interesting to know that energy from wind, sunlight and oceanic waves can be converted into electrical energy and stored in batteries. Implementation of green technology can be very costly and our government thinks that it is not cost effective although it will benefit mankind and prevents global warming. I will be not surprise if the cost of the electrical cars may doubled the price of our present cars.

Hi ketping, I understand that new techonogy vehicle is advanced and convenient. If this electrical car is really friendly to our environment. I would like to have a brand new one for sure. Of course if I could affort to purchase one My economic situation at the moment is not allowed me to spend extra expenses to purchase a new car. Therefore I prefer and feel happy to use my old petrol car as usual. Anyway I would try to take care of the environment by the reduction in drivin. When having local vacation I never drive my own anymore and we usually go by express bus. It's more economic as well as convinient. I feel more relaxed and comfortable as well as I could enjoy reading or watching the scene outside the window Take care and happy posting

This sounds interesting. If the car could go a relative large amount of miles with out recharging, i think i would like that. I will sure keep an eye out for more information. Thank you
