Since 1992 my dad work in Stockton California until my brother and sister graduated, after that when my brother and sister were stable working in Michigan my dad went back here in the Philippines since then, we cant be together as a family, but since my sister is getting married again she and her husband planned a church wedding here in the Philippines, It was very overwhelming because that was the only time we have been complete together i'm so happy and that would be one of my unforgettable moments ever. What would be yours i wanna hear from you.

I have lots of unforgettable experiences. Most of them I don't want to share in this forum as they are very personal. My most recent unforgettable experiences are when I got married and when I became a dad. I was so happy when me and my wife got married. It all seemed so fast but we enjoyed every second of it. I also enjoyed seeing my baby for the first time.. when she opened her eyes in the nursery, it was heaven. :)

In fact ,I'm not touched by your experience.Maybe,It's because of a cultural diffrence. In China ,it's very common that family members live together for a long time .some foreigners think it's useless for children's independence but for Chinese people it's happiness. when the children grow up ,they may live away from their parents ,but on special day such as spring festival we will stay together.

I'm glad I was able to find a fellow Filipina here, anyway, I can relate to that post, since Mom is working abroad, as well as my sister and dad. But my most unforgettable memory is about to be made. And they're all going home for my special day, my 18th birthday. It happens once in a blue moon that's why I'm looking forward to it and having my countdown as well. :) It's good to know that no matter how busy they are in their work they can still manage to have time for special occasions like weddings, birthdays and Christmas.

Well, I have lots of unforgettable memories with my friends and family. Memories are like jewels of the mind. They are priceless. I, for one, wouldn't trade them for the world. Let's get on with the main topic, one of my unforgettable memories was when we went to a swimming park resort for the summer. It was fun and all but the unforgettable thing was when my Dad left the Coleman Jug at the resort. The resort was pretty far from home. A day or two after, we were going to a beach in the province but on the way their we had to stop by the resort just to see if we can get the Coleman back. My Dad was pretty determined to get it. At the end of the day, we got it back. But all the while, we kept laughing about it in the car.
