Facebook charges money?

If this was true and not a hoax then I would be very surprised indeed. Charging people to use the social network would be the quickest way to kill the site. Who in their right mind is going to pay ? There are plenty other social networks and communities who would thrive if Facebook were to start charging money, membership fees. The whole backbone of social networking on the worldwide web is 'free'dom. I would simply swith back to Bebo or myspace or even Twitter. I would not worry about what you have read and heard.

I do not believe that this is true, it is necessary to to be a rumor as it is commented here, if it manages to be royal great people were stopping using facebook and of fact they would have to take the same methodology of mylot,since if it was not for the users the creator of the above mentioned network today would not have all the money and power that to joined.

i don't think this is true. if so, then facebook have told us already. i believe this is just a rumor.

it is Hoax. Facebook decline that issue. Facebook is free for all time,and we can make friend without charge of money

These groups have been using these scare tactics for quite awhile. There is no actual evidence that I have been able to find that shows Facebook is going to start charging money. One thing I have noticed with one or two of those groups is that once they got to a significant size the groups were sold to another Admin for an entirely different purpose. Suffice it to say I do not sign up on those groups, a petition would be appropriate enough if they were truly concerned.

Facebook will not charge people to use their site. They already sell the information we give them, so they don't need to charge us.

If they ever gonna charge me then i gonna quit it , it is just that simple yea .

is this real? for if it is, then I have plans to continue in their site..
