Hello friends, i'm really confused right now in selecting the best graphic card for me. I've short listed 2 cards, one is ATI 4670 HD and other is ATI 5570 HD. I'm really confused which one to buy. Both the cards are almost same in price and also the performance is also comparable. But after reading the review on this particular site, my mind is going towards 4670HD. So, what's your opinion in this regards. Please help me. If anyone of you is using any of the two cards, then please tell me its pros and cons. And yes, the card will be used mostly for gaming(like COD,Crysis,Left for Dead etc.) and HD playback.

I recommend ATI 5570 HD because it is faster to render graphics and better performance than 4670 because of its 1GB RAM.

Thanks for the response bro.But both 5570HD and 4670HD have 1GB DDR3 memory. But i'm still confused which one should i opt for. As i've seen their outputs for some latest games in which 4670HD perform better than 5570HD. This might be possible because of the fact that 4670HD has faster core clock than 5570HD(4670HD has 750MHz clock and 5570HD has 650MHz clock). Also, the interesting thing is that the 4670HD used for testing was 512MB DDR3. Its a myth that if a graphic card has 1 GB of RAM then it will perform better than its 512MB version. These all things depend on the processor used in the card, its speed and memory speed and bandwidth.

Here is the link of that review which i'm talking about. Here 512MB 4670HD is giving close competition to 1GB 5570 HD. http://www.anandtech.com/show/2935

hey go for the graphic card with faster memory timings...nowadays most game has maximu req of 512MB only some games like GTA..need 1GB,but 512 is enough..

if you want some raw information, might want to check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_ATI_Graphics_Processing_Units just look for your cards there. I was just looking at this page a few days ago, was searching for some stats on older AGP cards I can get for one of my old clunky machines I want to transform. If you're looking at Nvidia cards, try this too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units Hope this helps!
