So, I've had troubled and had acne skin ever since I was a teenager. it is now slowly clearing up because I've been using an oral contraceptive pill which is an anti-androgen hormone pill. Anyway, so the pimples are now clearing up but left me with distracting blemishes and black marks on my face especially on my cheeks. What make up, concealer or foundation to be more precised, which I can use to cover them completely? I've tried bare minerals and maybelline minerals foundation but it also gave me whiteheads and my face tends to get super itchy after a while. What to use? Thanks!

Did you ever consider using Neutrogena's foundation? It is designed only for acne-prone skin. However, it has salycillic acid in it. If your skin can't stand this element then there is a possibility that it will not work for you. I have used it and it seems to prevent acne in my skin. There are many others in the market. Even Loreal has come out with their own. But it is for older people. I know mineral foundation is way too dry and does not work that good. But you can try Ravlon mineral foundation. It has ingredients that skin love. So acne doesn't happen while using it.

Thanks! I'll consider Neutrogena. With a skin type like mine, it is definitely hard to find the perfect foundation. :)

Yes, that's good advice! Neutrogena products are great for people with problems like this. I have used some of them myself (though not the foundation), and they are wonderful!

I think you should consult a doctor. For acne and pimple 'Retino-A' could be a good medicine .I am also using it and it has helped me.May be this medicine also suits you.But first consult a doctor.

Thanks, prateek149! Actually, I'm already over that acne stage. But I am left with disgusting marks.
