Make Money Taking Surveys online

Hi myLotters! I've stumbled over a site Make Money Taking Surveys online. It has an upfront fee of $34.95, as far as I could remember. But when I tried closing the site, the fee went down to as much as $7 only! I am so enticed to join the site because of the low fee and the financial freedom it promises, but I'm a bit skeptical as it might be a scam. I want to ask for your opinion. Should I join this site or not? Have you had any experiences with this site? I'll appreciate your comments very much. :)

I am new to mylot , but have experienced the same as you have with the make money by taking surveys . Most of these surveys are a scam from what I can see. Websites like mylot offer a tangible means of making money , not some promise of monies and no result.

yes. some survey sites really don't give out surveys to people residing outside the u.s. that's why i think we can't make an income from these surveys, whether free to join or not.

The fact that they reduced the price when you tried to leave the site says it all. They are only interested in getting your money and no genuine survey site will ask you to pay anything in order to join and take surveys.

They were just making a last attempt to persuade you to send them some money. Quite often, making a big reduction in the "price" is enough to make a reluctant punter think that they are really "saving" a lot of money over the original price quoted. It's a common ploy amongst scam artists and salesmen alike, (is there actually a difference?) to get the mark to part with their money.

Yes I also realized that, that's why I'm a bit curious, why did they lower the fee. Thanks!

I had experienced many survey sites that required an upfront fee, which actually turn out to be scams and I fell broke. I only sign up for survey sites that are free and does not include an upfront free like MySurvey.com, ZoomPanel.com, InstantCashSweepstakes.com, I-Say.com, and ClearVoice.com. These survey sites do not include fees, but they make take time to earn money or points to redeem for prizes.

i tried to join free survey sites, but never got a single survey from them. so i considered joining survey sites with an upfront fee, thinking that they may have something different to offer. but i was already warned about them being a scam.

How many legitimate jobs have you applied for and gotten where the boss said, "But before we hire you to work for us, YOU have to pay US? Unless you are taking on a franchise, it just doesn't happen. So, if this isn't a franchise where you have to pay for the kit of supplies you are selling, yes, you can pretty much bet on it being a scam.

Does this make all websites asking for an upfront fee a scam? Thanks!

I have found that many Make Money for Survey sites have wasted my time on so many occasions. For instance they say a survey will take 10 minutes and it stretches out to something like half-an-hour. And then I have gone through several pages of questions only to be told after about 20 minutes work that I have not qualified for the survey. Many people rave about them being so good, but I have not found this to be the case, so therefore don't bother with most of them any more. Just the ones that I know are worth the effort. _Derek

I don't have any encounter with such websites yet. But be careful, it might be a scam. If not, why are they asking for money initially?

Not you some to this site, surely it is one defrauds, to my already it has happened to me, for not taking the necessary precautions. I choose not to invest mas money in Internet, I continue looking for sites that are free and if it is necessary to do a minimal investment hope that it goes out of the same site. The topic is to find some site that pays good sums of money and that they fulfill, now I am trying here.

Yes, I realized that making transactions online is a bit risky, especially from an online company that says things which were too good to be true.

Be careful in joining making money websites. It would be best if you investigate and learn more about this website first.

This is a scam. You can find free lists of places to take surveys. I used surveypolice.com. They have a complete list. Just find the ones you want to join and go to town taking surveys. I made over $700 last year taking surveys.

Too bad that unless you live in US, Canada, and Australia, your chances are low to get paid surveys available for you...not to mention that paid surveys come from real company which means they have targets to complete their surveys (in other words, people background information is crucial). For me, it works but trust me...1 paid survey a month is pretty good for me

My dear, please do not go for it. I don't understand when these sites promise of paying us, why they need our money to start for it. If they are so sure that we gonna earn eventually, they can deduct the money from our first payout. So I have a strong suspicion that these are some scam sites, just to benefit from our greed of earning high amount of money in a small amount of time. That does not work dear, else everybody would have done the same. Who in the world wants to work for 8-10 hours daily, travel 1-2 hours daily. They can go on join 4-6 sites of these type and work in their underwears and earn at ease from their homes.

First rule of the thumb. If it's asking for a fee up front. It's a scam. You're suppose to work for them therefore they should pay you not the other way arround.

One very important comment on this; firstly was is the reason for survey companies recruiting member panelists to take the surveys? The obvious answer is that they can make money from the marketers who are statistically gathering information back to manufacturers. If you pay a promising survey company to make sure you get x number of surveys per day, week or month than it is a scam. The marketers and manufacturers have very exclusive demographic areas, people and genders they expect from so many respondants, therefore when you sign up for a total free survey company there is no absolute guarantee you will qualify for any of the offered surveys, and perhaps you will qualify for quite a few of them. Remember you are paying a service to promise you how many surveys at a time. There is no guarantee the survey company will have surveys that require your statistical or geographical input, so that is the key word Taking Surveys online, there is no word in there that says we guarantee you that you will get so many of them. Which I will reiterate, how in the world can they do that when they have no clue which surveys will come their way on a daily basis. Do not let anyone tell you they do. Impossible, do your homework, check all companies with the BBD, reviews from other members on the internet and wait just remembered there is a site it is called www.surveypolice.com. It does exactly what its name is about. There you can check, compliment and complain about a survey company and results will happen. I am a member so I know about them.. Lastly, Why would any company offer you a full service for $34.95, then when you are about the close the tab it went down to $7. Shouldn't it have $7 to begin, that dear is the first redflag. Please be cautious, we are all looking for way on how to generate an income, and so are the scammers. Good luck, hope you didn't join.
