I had a discussion a while back about people not repying on their e-mail when they give it to you unasked. anyway, I had this one lady from another group, gave me her e-mail, asked me if i wanted these audio books she wanted rid of. i sent her my address and thanked her, and asked if she wanted reimbursed for postage. This was 3 mths ago and she never replied back
which made me think maybe she wanted my e-mail addy just for spam. well, yesterday the door bell rung, sent Coco crazy barking..
like always...lol.A package came with 7 audio books in from her!
They were the "Left Behind series" and 2 other inspirational books! I've always wanted to read them, now i can just listen! Have you read them? isnt this a sweet nice thing for her to do? Guess now i'll need to snail mail her since she put a very nice note in. What should i do with them after? maybe put in good will?

Aww thats lovely. Maybe she was just busy or couldnt get to the post office? I usually say I'll do something and then it wont get done for a while because I'll be too busy.

I love that little boy so much. Can't believe he is going to be 6 years old in july & will be starting to school. They grow up way too quick. hugs. jo

You know, there is a group of people, but I don't know too much about it, who leave books and audio books places for other people to find.
Sometimes, like "Where's George" there is a website to record that you found and read/listened to a book.
I'm just not willing to work that hard to find the group.

I think thats great. i have not read them but I have a friend who has read all of them and loves them. I would suggest a very nice thank you card to her then wait till you come across someone who will truly appreciate them. I think these call for that!

hi bunnybon7 yes it w as a lovely surprise and brings back faith in people once again. she was just probably hung up with something else and did not get to it right away. No I have not read them but sounds really good. this was a v ery sweet thing for her to do. I guess after you listen to them maybe give them to someone whom you know will be appreciative
and thus pass the good will on.

I would have to say pay it foward. Firstly, make sure you don't forget to send her a quick thank you email about how grateful you are for having received them. Then wait for that one person who like in your case could really use them and do the same. I would especially include in the package that this is how you got them. Sure enough somewhere out there a small chain of goodness will be shared.
