Sorry .. I was not trying to sound ignorant or make light of how hard it is to quit. I guess that was the way I sounded!!!! Your boyfriend obviously does love you alot , what I was trying to say about the quitting part was that you obviously deep down know you should quit , but it is hard!! I have seen relatives quit after 40 years smoking , that was hard for them but they used a process of smoking less and less ( 0ne less per day ) , then they used patches , finally they were off them after about 4 months or so. Love will conquor most challenges , it just depends on how much of a challenge your boyfriend sees the smoking at.

thanks that was very nice advice and you are forgiven for coming across a bit weird. but what i asked you was if you fell in love with someone then found out they smoked what would you do? i mean if you fell really head over heels with them
