I just took my clothes out of the dryer after using one of these sheets and there is not one trace of static in them! They are clean and static free, something I really like. But oh, the SMELL!!! I may wash them again and use my usual dryer sheets to get the smell out. It's not unpleasant to most people but the perfume is SO strong that I can barely stand to wear them.
They cost about $.25 per sheet when you buy to 24 pack, which is a decent price. People seem to like them and I haven't read any complaints about the scent so it may just be me. I prefer unscented things. Anyway, if you'd like to try them here is the link:

I hope you like it! It's very convenient and I like it for that. Fortunata, the reply above yours, said it left a mess in her lint trap and I'm going to check on that tomorrow.

There was no mess in my dryer, I'm happy to say. Just the usual lint. I think I'll buy this product if I can find it unscented!

Thanks for the link and the info, dragon. I love getting free samples, at least those I would use or try, and this one I will try. My husband will probably hate it because he has a nose much like yours. He can't stand strongly-scented things. I don't like strong scents but do like nice scents and, for the times when it's raining and I use the dryer, these might be great.
I do like my bedsheets and towels smelling nice, even my husband does although he complains about most other things with any scent at all. If they come out smelling too strong, I'll just store whatever I wash with them for awhile until some of the scent fades.
Do you know that Walmart.com also has free samples? Most of them are, uhh, monthly feminine products but they usually have at least one sample that I would use. They change them every week so I check them out once a week. I love the shampoo/conditioner and laundry detergent/fabric softener samples.
Here's to free stuff!

Yeah, the Walmart samples are usually for things I don't use but I send for them anyway and put them with my emergency stores. You never know when a disaster might happen and a neighbor will need a sample that you have but don't need! I have a bagful of detergent, softeners and static sheet samples that I keep in case I should find myself short of money and supplies as well as stuff in my emergency cache like toothpaste, toothbrushes, Motrin and other OTC medical supplies. I like the samples of drink mixes, too, and have some cereal samples down there for emergencies.

As a matter of fact, I just last week went through my supplies seriously and weeded out the stuff ready to expire! Then I went a step further and put them in boxes with the expiration year written on the outside so it will be easy to keep them fresh and rotate them. I had a can of turkey that expired in April and it made a very nice turkey salad!

I don't have much company (because I live with Scrooge) but I do occasionally order those samples of feminine products because my son brings his girlfriend over sometimes and I do have the occasional holiday parties. It is good to be able to provide those emergency items because I've been on the other side before.
I usually give the laundry samples to my sons because their income isn't nearly what ours is here.
Oh, I sent that link to my sons, by the way. Of course, they're male and don't usually have time (right) to do mundane stuff online like ordering samples. It would take away from their gaming time, heaven forbid!
Remember to look at the expiration dates on your emergency supplies. Even toothpaste has an expiration date. I heard about wheat products (like pasta and cereals) actually making people sick if they've expired because of some fungus or bacteria or something that gets on them if they sit too long. When I heard that, my son and I cleaned out my cabinets and you should see all the space I have now that we removed all the expired stuff! I am proud to say, however, that I only had one swollen can... waaaaaay in the back of a top shelf.

I like my sample but I'm too cheap to buy them ;0) I also cut my sample in half and it still worked wonderfully. Be rest assured I will keep ordering that sample!

I really liked it but the smell nearly killed me. I hated the way my clothes smelled like a perfume factory! Other than that, I really love the idea of it. I Don't like how expensive it is, though, and won't use it at all until they come out with an unscented version!

I want to try these at some point but my husband and I don't create all that much laundry, and living with his parents we get free soap lol. They look like they'd work great, and I don't think the smell would bother me all that much.
I want to try Mr. Steamy too at some point.

Is Mr. Steamy that ball that you throw in the dryer to unwrinkle cloths? My dad and I saw that commercial and he says sure, it's cheap, but where they get you is the liquid you have to add. Look at prices carefully before you buy!

When I tried them, they left a mess in my dryer. You're right about the smell. I wouldn't mind, but it doesn't even smell good, to me! I'm used to cleaning out lint in my dryer from the filter, but these leave a crumbly mess all over. Made more work for me, in my opinion, so I might stick with the dryer sheets.

Darn, I didn't check my lint trap! I'll check it tomorrow and let you know if it did the same to me. Luckily, the smell went away after a few hours. My stepmother thought it smelled good when I took her the second sheet today but then, she likes scented stuff. I'll get back to you tomorrow after I check my lint trap.

I checked my dryer and it was just the usual lint, nothing spectacular. I wonder why it messed with your dryer? I took the other sheet to my stepmother, she thought it smelled wonderful and was anxious to try it. I had to put it in the trunk on the way over there because of the smell--I must be overly sensitive!

Oh jeez! LOL. I just ordered these, wish I would have read about the smell before doing so. LOL. I was actually surprised that I could still order them. Hmm. I usually use the ridiculously expensive Gain laundry soap, which smells utterly AMAZING and I love that my clothes smell so good because of it. So maybe it's a personal preference thing?

If you like scented products, you'll LOVE these! I myself prefer things to smell natural and scented stuff really repels me.
Did you know that soap's only function in the washer is to break the water tension so it can flow through the clothing? Sure, it gets some dirt out but paying high prices for detergent is mostly a waste of money. Maybe you can find a cheaper detergent with the same scent and save some cash.

When I lived with friends we used a detergent that was cheap but smelled great. I don't remember it's name and the one time I tried to look for it I couldn't find it, but my only point to respond is that it smelled great so dragon is right there are bound to be some cheap but great smelling knock offs.

I also got a free sample and I did like them too. I keep saying I am going to go buy them but forget to get them when at the store. I used the sheet in the washer just the one time but used in the dryer about 4 or 5 times total. It worked pretty well I thought and don't think I would have considered buying if it was not for getting the sample. I can't remember where I got it, must have been from one of the sample sites I am on, I don't think it was the link you provided. Anyway thanks for reminding me about them.

I don't think I'll buy them. I have a $1 coupon but they're awfully expensive! I get generic detergent and dryer sheets anyway and together they cost less and wash twice as many clothes as the Purex. I'll swap convenience for savings any day!

hi dragon54u think I will pass on that as the smell is the thing thad does me in on dryer sheets.I love the results but am horribly allergtic
to most highly scented dryer sheets. I just have to walk down the aisle
in the grocery store and my nose starts to run, my eyes water and I am wheezing before I can get away.seems to be in the perfume theres something that causes me a real allergic reaction to them. Then I start
to sneeze like five or six times as people eye me like I am some type of freak. I know there are some that are unscented but to get to them in the store is plain misery. I really have a very strong allergic reaction to the perfume in them.

My reaction isn't quite that bad but it's very unpleasant for me to walk down the detergent aisle! I have a reaction to those things much like someone who you would make smell a bucket of cow manure. It's repulsive to me. I wish more things were unscented!

These sheets will be perfect for you since you like scented products! They are so easy, too, just put the sheet in the washer and keep it with the clothing till they are dried. I like not having the measure detergent--I use powder because it's cheaper but I'm messy with it and sometimes it doesn't dissolve in the cold water and leaves clumps on my sheets. I hope you enjoy your sample! They come in a pack of 2 and I'm taking the second one to my stepmother today.

THANKS for the link!!! I just asked for my free sample. I've been tempted to buy, but didn't know anybody who had tried them. I don't usually jump into buying a new product until I know somebody who has tried & liked!!! You should email the company & suggest they put out an Unscented option as you don't care for the smell. Who knows, they might even listen
or they might send you another free sample as a peace offering

As soon as I took my clothes out of the dryer and brought them upstairs I emailed Purex and told them how repulsive the smell was to me--but in a much nicer way than I did here! I'll bet more people want unscented than they realize.
The samples come on a two-pack so I'll be taking the other sheet to my stepmother today. She likes things to smell "nice" although "nice" is purely subjective and I don't agree with people who think perfumed clothing smell "nice".

UGH! I hate over fume-agated clothing! You can smell the people who wear them from 10miles away! Thanks for sharing the free sample but I think I'll pass on this one LOL;)

I looked at the product in the store and they don't have unscented so I'll pass, too! I did a follow up survey and expressed my extreme disgust with the overpowering scent.
Why can't things just smell like they are supposed to?! Perfume belongs to flowers, not people and clothing!
