Public pool to me is dirty. Much more when there are lots of people swimming int he pool at the same time. People whom you don not know maybe they have some skin diseases or what? Oh!! no. But they said, the pool has disinfectants to kill the germs out there. But still I don't like to mingle with other people I do not know. And you can smell the different kinds of smell. Oh no!! do you like it? do you always swim in a public pool?

I have not swam in a public pool in a long time. I agree with you, there is just no telling who all has what in the pool. I don't like to be in the same pool as others either. People may urinate and you would never know.

Correct!! I absolutely agree with you. Urinating is the common problem in a pool. Exactly right!! in a public pool, people are of any kind whom you do not know. Where they are doing what or not? so then, this is the reason why I don't like the public pool.

Well, maybe that is why some ladies who have beautiful bodies want to swim in public pools so that they can display their beautiful body.

Public pools can be fine as long as they are kept clean. Swimming at the beach is an even better choice. Fresh water and no chhlorine make a happier swim.

I absolutely agree with you. Beach is a better choice than the pool but for those who love swimming and they are far from the beach, it's up to you.
31 May 10
I disagree with you , because not all beach are healthy. In England it is map where they recommendation swim where not. So with beach is this same like in pool some are good some not. I know you maybe live in country were have clean sea but not every were is that.

Oh really? I did not hear about that yet. Oh well, good I hear that experience the more I will not swim in the public pools.

I don't have nothing to public pool , if you know they care about him. If thay change water frequently and clean often. I don't thing water in pool is worse than in lake, river or sea. I think you can just catch trench lont but I use flip flop and till now I don't catch. If you don't have near sea, lake or river you will be not use pool ?

For most reasons, I don't like public pools. I'd preferred beach or river because the water is flowing compared to the pool. In the river or sea, water flows and so the thing goes with it unlike the pool which is stagnant while you use it.
31 May 10
But not every were sea or river are is clean. All dross from city go to river on sea so you must know do you not swim near sewage. If you will not leave near beach or river you will be not swim ?

Swimming sometime can be something I can call an activity. I guess, you also go swimming in the sea. It's more dirtier than a pool. Swimming in a public pool is never that bad after all.

I think the beach is cleaner than the pool when you are in an area away from residential places. Clean beach is what I mean is better than the pool.

I guess, you're right but certainly it depends on the maintenance of the pool.

I don't like swimming in a public pool either, we have one here in town but I'd rather go out to the lake or creek where there's not so many people. I'm not that worried about germs I just don't like to be with people I don't know.

I always go for private pool only. As much as possible I want beach and not swimming pool actually. Public pools are always crowded and yes the water is so dirty. I don't think I will ever enjoy swimming in such kind of water and surroundings.

Public pool is good if you are the first one to use it. But there are lots of people swimming together? I can't stand it.

According to an interview I have watched on TV, two out of six people pee in the pool. Now double the number and you have more people peeing there. Sometimes I even imagine the water turning yellow. Yes, I have observed this in kiddie pools because the helpers or "yayas" or nannies also jump in to the kiddie pool to watch their wards and I did not see them going to the shower. They just jumped directly into the pool and I noticed the color of the pool turning yellow. Iwww.....

I hate swimming anywhere! I really don't like the water and I don't like wearing a swimsuit, as they can be quite revealing and I am not proud of how my body looks. So I haven't been to a swimming pool for ten years or more!

Well, most swimming pool owners in public places required the users to wear swim suit, that is another thing that I don't like because I am not use to wearing swim suit.

I can't swimming till now... don't laugh at me. I used to swim with life buoy in pubilc pools several times. The water there was thermal spring. During a period my family went there frequently. But one day my parents heard that there was communicable disease in the water, since then we havn't gone there anymore.

I really am not impressed with public pools. If I dont know who is the caretaker of the pool then I wont go in. I really dont think that public pools are disinfected the way they should be and taken care of. I do not want to get any diseases or rashes and I fear that because public pools are not taken care of the way they should be if I go in I may get something I do not want so I do not swim in public pools at all.

We are the same. That is the most reason I avoid public pools. Much more if there are lots of people swimming in it at different time of the day? oh my!! i could just imagine the different germs that we encounter if we swim with them.

I could not learn swimming, though I tried, -- in a public swimming pool. I agree with you entirely, particularly when it is used by large crowd. Not only the danger of skin aflictions but also the contamination with sputum, nasal discharge and urination. It can be quite nauseating.

Correct!! I agree with you. It is better if the pool is a private one. Where it is only the owners and some friends have the access to it. In a Public pool anybody can just go there and swim.

hahaha!!! I can swim in a private pool but not in a public one where everybody can just swim anytime. I'd rather swim in the beach than in the pool.
