Eric Clapton - live?

I've been listening to a lot of Eric Clapton's unplugged music lately, and I have to say I've fallen absolutely in love. The live stuff sounds almost better and more amazing the studio stuff (and that's a very RARE trait with a band - having that kind of performance quality). I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen Clapton live, and how it was! Besides amazing! And how much tickets usually run for? I'm dying to see him live now!
And also, what are some other musicians (besides Metallica) that are absolutely superb live?

i have liked some of his songs especially in the 60's to 70's. he songs are in a lot of genre and what missing is rap i think lol.
favorite one is layla i think from the 60's when he is still in derek and the dominoes.

i am wondering if in the future i would name my daughter with layla but when i look around the net there are some good and bad meanings with that word.
