How important is smiling to you? Those who smile are most likely happier than other people. Smiling takes less that frowning, as frowning uses more muscles than smiling does. Smiling also feels better than frowning does. My friend's roommate always smiles and it makes him appear happy. He's always smiling or laughing. He comes off as a really nice guy. I'm going to try and smile more and hence enjoy life to a greater degree. =) It'll make be happier with life!!

I guess I'm one of those people who when I'm not smiling, I look like I'm frowning. Because at work a lot of my customers are telling me "smile, it can't be that bad." And I'd think, what are you talking about? I'm fine. So I'm working on smiling more at work as it is my job to make the customers feel happy and a smile goes a long way in doing that :)

I have to admit I am the same. I don't smile much and when I do, I do it unknowingly, but everyone just seems to think I am miserable though Im not x3. After being at my cousins wedding party I do try to smile a bit more, just because it seems to make it easier to get on with others and have a bit more of a laugh. It also means people will be less likely to get the wrong impression about what I am thinking.

That's true, people will be less likely to get the wrong impression if you smile. I tend to make a lot of jokes which sometimes can be taken the wrong way so I like to follow it with a smile so they know I'm just kidding :)

smiling is good for our health and it makes us more pleasant looking to other people. :) but anybody can fake a smile and sometimes those people who always smile are the ones who are very problematic. but a smile can make a problem go away. :)

...smiling is very important. Smiling can make you more good looking and young looking. Smiling can make you more likeable and admirable ( more girls, hehehe). Smiling invites positive vibes or energy, thus giving you a possitive impression. Smiling attracts people so you'll have more friends. By smiling, it shows your happy and it can make your day!...smile more...

Smiling is very important 2 me coz smiling is my strenght. wenevr i m sad than no body could make my mood perfect but if i smile myself than i jus forgot my all worries. evn smiling is good 4 health also as it increases d haemoglobin. is there anyone 2 whom smile is their strength? To me smiling doesn't mean 2 laugh loudly while its a mean 2 express joy whether laughing loudly or by jus moving/open lips as mainly girls did. they hardly laugh loudly. isn't i m right.....

that is a nice decision to take in your life.Yes,smiling is far easy than frowning and apparently it gains you more friends.A smiling face gives a nice impression to others about you and it helps to meet challenges easily.I wonder why most of the people have a hanging face?

Hi eddyspaghetti, smiling is the one of the gift from the god to human beings. You can forget your worries when you see a infant/child's smile. You can forget yourself when you see your spouse smile. You can forget everything when your friends smiles. This is what i believe. Some people will be smiling always though they have many worries. Whenever we smile, observe our heart will become lighter.

Its a saying for smile- "The curve which helps get things straight". Truly, smiling helps you ease a lot of tension and initiates a level of comfort in the atmosphere. I have seen many people while talking they just get the ugly frown on their face and keeping the atmosphere tense. Why can't they smile. And some people have seen as if they have no worries and just smile warmly. Its so encouraging. It really develops a friendship bond if we keep a smiling face.
