prandelli a new italy coach

a italy asscociation of football had decide cesare prandelli to train italy after world cup. a former fiorentina coach get many compliment after make fiorentina stable and can compete again with many great clubs in seri A. what do you think about cesare prandelli?

I am actually surprised that the Italian association announced this just before the World Cup. It would have been better announced after the World Cup. BTW, I do not know much about Parandelli, but as long as he does not go the way of Donadoni, it is ok. Cheers! Ram

Nothing. Only that the poor guy took a team at the top of the pile and team steadily struggled for results under him. I think it was a bit unfair on him to take on as the coach of the world champions Italy straight away!! Cheers! Ram

It is common in Italy to announce the new head coach before the WorldCup ends, and I think Prandelli is the right choice, he has been on great seasons with Fiorentina and has discovered new players such as Giampaolo Pazzini and rescued others like Alberto Gilardino. I think that he can do well at the Italian squad. Cheers!

so do you know the history of italy coach appointment. i do agree with your say that prandelli can make gilardino and pazzini become a danger forward again
