We all like the time to fly away and save us from any awkward situation.

Wishing the time to fly - We wish the time to run at break neck speed to save from some awkward situations.

Have you ever encountered a situation where you wished the time to pass away like a lightening to extricate yourself from that embarrassing moment? Has the time been merciful to you?

Well Summer is an embarrassing time for me, because I suffer with SAD and I sweat too much, so I have to wear clothes that don't show, I dread the Summer and I hate it with the vengeance I don't like the heat, so I wish time to fly away so we could be in September right now, not June. If I was rich enough I'd vacate in the Summer months, or it would be nice to hibernate. Why does time always slow down when you are not particularly enjoying time or your life.

Your response couldn't have come in a more appropriate time as the dog days have come to an end only yesterday here.God How I hate this sultry summer.

ahaha... I've experienced this already and I was totally disappointed that time never been merciful during that time. lol It was the time when my crushed actually asked me if I like him. Well, I never thought that he would ask me that question all of a sudden since I never told him what I feel about him. And since I wasn't able to escape from this question. I simply changed the topic and said no. Aw! I made the wrong choice. lol. I felt really embarrassed to him.

It seems like when I say something thoughtless, time stands still and I wish could take the words back. But I can't.

Oh any time something unpleasant is coming up I wish to be past it. But a friend once said to me, "don't wish your life away." Too true. You keep wanting time to speed by and then one day you wonder where all the years went.

Hi bala! I have encountered those situations more than I could possibly count and they are the worst! I have wished that I could fly, become invisible, make time pass, wish I could be anywhere but where I was! You name it I have wished it!lol In fact, most of my life I have have felt that way! I have so wanted to "run" from an uncomfortable situation so many times! I have so wished we were able to disappear at will because I would have used that one so many times!

I hate the feeling when the words have just come out of the mouth and the brain has caught up a tad too late and you know you did it again! The foot in the mouth syndrome! For me that would be the thing that makes me want to run away or disappear the most. You’ve said the words, you know you’ve said the wrong thing and you can see the look on the other person’s face, yep...That moment seems to last forever!

Right Paula and not even the best poet and the writer in the world can describe the expression on your fashion at that time.

hi balasri well this is in a more humourous vein but when I was still working at the library we, that is allthe staff, keep our lunches and any food belonging to any of us in our big fridge in the s taff room. It was customary to mark your own food items with your name and everyone assumed any unmarked food items were up for grabs to the first person to open the fridge. well we had had bagels of a wide variety for our break. There was this one with everything in it,chocolate chips and nuts and raisins. I did not see any name on the sack but I did not turn it over, and when it came due for my coffee break I saw this sack with the bagel with every thing on it, and I really enjoyed it with my coffee. then my boss comes in and looks at the empty sack,.She frowns, and says rather sharply," hatley who ate my bagel" well five people all came in at once, and started asking her questions. I snuck out and went back to work saved bythe apperance of the rest of the staff. She kept asking everyone who ate my bagel? of course she got no reply not from me as i was already back at work. he he

that happened to me just the other night I found myself in an emotional conversation where I felt trapped and like I was being attacked I was being pushed to make a decision that I wasnt ready to make emotionally I had to take a time out to think I excused myself and went outside to sit on the deck so the cool night air could clear my head after a few minutes I went back in and made the decision now lets just hope it was the right decision

It always wonttakelong time to take the right decision if you allow enough time to get your head cleared.
