Have you ever had neighbors walking their dogs stop in your yard and

let them poop then not pick it up? So now if you have kids who play in the yard they can step in it and in turn track the dog poop into the house? What do you think of this and how does it make you feel?

A male friend of mine had that happen quite frequently, however the dog wasn't be "walked" it was in fact trained to poo in his yard. He knew approx what time it was that the dog did this and the owner usually kept it in the rear yard but would let it free for its poop. My friend took the poop up with a shovel and put it in a burlap bag in the backyard. for a couple weeks he collected the poo and then when it stunk so bad he couldn't keep it up.... he took it and deposited it with a note on the man's front door. (Still in its sack so not too mean) The note read: "What you thought I was going to dispose of it for you? It isn't my dog and I suggest that you train it to do its business elsewhere or next time I won't be as nice."

I just can't believe people can be so blatantly rude! It should be possible to have law enforcement cite them these kinds of activities.

I just can't believe some people can be so disrespectful and rude. I asssume they often think no one will notice and perhaps they don't actually notice it happen but I see it later when I mow. Not sure if there is a law for this one but there should be.

Only problem is that irresponsible pet owners who will allow their pet to poop in the park often go unnoticed. I would hope if people notice they won't be afraid to confront the offender about it.

I actually have this problem. There are two boys that live in the trailer park that I live in. They are around 4 lots down the hill from me and they walk their dog up here and let it use the bathroom in my lawn. I finally got sick of cleaning it out of my sons shoes several times a day. I went to their parents house knocked on the door and ask if I did something wrong to them to deserve the dog poo that is from their dog in my lawn. The father was really rude and told me that his dog would "go" wherever and whenever it wanted. I was kind enough to buy a pooper scooper and bagged it up for him and wrote his name on the bag and left it on his porch. After a couple bags he took the hint and I never see the dog now.

Wow! I am so glad to hear that this situation turned out so well for you! Thank you so much for sharing your story, I really liked it! My problem is I don't know who is letting their dog poop in my yard or I might consider an approach like this.

Actually, I have seen that! LOL And if my neighbor sees me, then she will make her dog come back into her yard. But this summer I got really sick of it because I would mow the lawn and the lawn mower made projectiles of this dog poop! LOL So, I started guiding my dog to poop in Her yard when I took her for a walk! hahahahaha Her dog doesn't poop in my yard anymore. LOL

My neighbor's dog comes under to my house all the time. I have a lot of flowers, and they pee on them killing my flowers. It makes me so mad, flowers aren't free.

The dogs get to run free? Where I live it is against the law. If the pound finds them they go to dog jail.

But you don't want to leave them there too long. They get sad.

If i saw it with my own eyes, I would run out and say "hey! you forgot something!!" and point to the poop. I have a dog and I ALWAYS pick up after them. It's rude and disgusting that dog owners don't do it. I actually called the humane society on someone before. There's a house on the corner, and they have a huge rottweiler and a german sheppard. I have seen them with my own eyes, pooping on the sidewalk. It's disgusting! The owner lets his dogs out and they poo all over the sidewalk where everyone has to walk. I called the humane society and they had someone go by and check up on them. Since then, I haven't seen any poop. Actually, I haven't seen the dogs! i don't know if they got rid of them, or they just keep them in the house. I have never ever seen the owner. If the poop was still everywhere, and I saw him, I would definetly give him some words!

I would suggest you be careful of confronting people like that. Tose people are rude so I can only imagine that they may be rude if confronted as well. :)

Guess you might want some backup when you confront them. People like this deserve to be put in their place even if that were to mean coming to blows!
