Obama was in Chicago this Memorial Day. He aparently doesn't think honoring our war heros is a big deal. So as far as the protestors go...he'd probably fit right in with them. I mean, he doesn't like to wear flag pins or put his hand over his heart during the pledge of alligience either.

so what were they doing at Arlington? What is Westboro and why should we fear these people?

well,since arlington's supposed to have some unmarked graves,i don't think they'd notice a few more...

The WBC were there last year too. I am sure the secret service does not let these folks any where near anyone. It is illegal to protest at Arlington so they must have been outside the gates. I am sorry that Obama got rained out considering the history of where he was going to speak.

You ponder so much it makes my head hurt...and because I've already been to the Memorial Day celebration at the cemetary, I think I'll take a short nap and let my head rest from all your questions. I didn't even attempt to answer the discussion on men...because I haven't had one around to study.... So, I'll take your word for it. Now laglen, you know those WBC folks have got to be tough and stringy so the only thing they'd be good for down here would be gator bait. I would think that if those idiots had been there today they would have been made to move to a distant location "for their own protection".
