Allow me to preface this discussion by stating that while online pharmacies can be a way for people without insurance to save a lot of money on their prescription medications. Even though you can purchase a prescription online from the same site that you buy the medications from, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO THIS WITHOUT FIRST SEEING A DOCTOR.
There are millions upon millions of people in the United States and around the world who are either undercovered or not covered at all for their medical costs and prescription drugs. In the current economy everyone wants to save money. One way to do so is to purchase your prescription medications online instead of from your local pharmacist. The savings on some medications, even when purchasing generics can often be up to 80% off of the price you would pay for the same medication in the US. We have all heard hype and horror stories about people getting ripped off, or taking fake drugs which resemble but are not the meds that they need to take on a daily basis. Still more and more people are buying more and more pharmaceuticals online.
My question is, with all of the risks, both real and imagined, do you think that trying to buy prescription medications online is a good idea or a bad idea and do you feel that the risks outweigh the possible rewards?

I would not buy medications on line, as you really do not know what they are.I personally go to the chemist or pharmacy. Here in Australia you have the choice when you hand in the scripts if you want that particular brand or the generic which is cheaper.Over here we have a big trend now of discount pharmacies which can be a lot cheaper.
