how do you make a lag switch?

A couple days ago I was playing halo 3 on live and I meet this cool guy. We were on the same team and we were losing by like 10 kills. Then he told me he was going to use his lagswitch to see if it would help us out. I thought it was a cool gun mod or something so I was like okay whatever. Then the next thing you know, me and the guy are running crazy fast and not taking any damage. After winning the match I asked the guy how he did that and he was about to tell me when the power in my house went out. So if anyone can tell me how to make a quick easy lagswitch i would be so happy.

I play Halo 3 and ODST online all the time I would be careful about using these Lag Switches On Halo As Bungie is on the hunt for people Modfing game play while playing. and you will BAND from your Xbox Live account. But you mate was most likley using a lag Program on his Computer Not a switch. and most likley could only be use while he is hosting the game. and he has used the program to FLOOD the Bungie Severs Running the game. There for slowing the other team down and speeding your team up making it almost impossiable for the other team to Shoot you.
WARNING:
If you try and find this program online and download it you will most likley get a virus on your computer. i would sugguest talking to a friend that is a programer or some one you trust to send the program to you.
Dealing with these types of programs usally to me means a virus so take Care
