I would have to say the most annoying PC problem i had was Trojan related. I suspected that i had malware for sometime but my antivirus program never detected any malware. So i scanned my PC using an online scanner and there were three Trojans found, but the free online scanners couldn't delete them or quarantined them so i decided to reformat my drive. When i was done reformatting my PC, i changed the password, restart it then tried to log in with my new password. But i couldn't, it said wrong password. I was really frustrated because i wrote down my password. I went online on my other PC asking for help and someone finally helped me, he told me to do a complete reformat. He advised that the trojans might have locked me out....haa! Well, that is that. Now i use 2 antivirus programs on my PC and schedule regular online av scans too. That was my most annoying PC problem. What was yours?

My previous laptop have an very annoying problem, it usually stopped responsing suddenly. Everything but the shut down button worked. I must unplug it and take off the battery after shutting down, otherwise it would stop at windows XP welcome. It caused me losing my unsaved work many times, the feeling was really annoying, I nealy wanted to throw it away.

Wow hulaboy, that must be a really frustrating experience. My most annoying pc problem was when a program appeared on my pc saying that I have a virus on my computer and that I should scan my pc using its free software. I didn't trust the program so I used my own software but I couldn't erase the program. It kept popping up when I'm online. I got so fed up, I reformat my hard disk. It was really frustrating. I went online investigating the program and it turned out that this program is the virus and is trying to get people like me to buy their software. That is a really sneaky way of doing business. Infect your client's pc and then offer a solution.

Yeah Umi, what were they thinking? They thought after infecting a person's pc, that person would turn around and buy their software. They are not business savvy.

hardware related.i used to have a computer with a bad chip in it-it would overheat despite numerous fans and attempts to use less time.software/format i could fix,but this had to be replaced.it was always shutting down and causing errors while i was trying to work.

I remember something. The annoying pc problem I have encountered was internet connection. There are so many reason why a computer cannot connect to internet using an usb modem. I can't figure out how to troubleshoot this one. It maybe the usb modem settings, speed of modem or the internet provider itself. I also can be a cause of virus that block the internet connection.

I have 2 laptops, one i use on a regular basis and the other one occasionally. I started using my second laptop this month and i didn't realize that my anti-virus on that system has expired. A new trojan virus, "Antispyware", which looks like a anti-spyware software has attacked my system. It won't let any of the .exe files to execute and i wasn't able to download and install any of the anti spywares. After stuggling for 3-4 hours...i decided to format my system. I never had virus in my system..and so it was first time for me to deal with such a problem

the BLUE SCREEN ERROR. so annoying because there are lots of reasons related to it and you just can't figure it out yourself. you gotta have to ask an expert's point of view at one point or another.

Oh, I have had many share of annoying problems. Of course, as annoying as viruses, malware, whatever is, I think the most annoying problem is those that could be solved with a rather simple solution. Those that tend to be so simple, that I spend hours doing something complex and then want to bang my head against the wall afterwards, because I cannot believe it was so simple. My computer kept freezing up. When this happens, my mind thinks that something nasty must have slipped through. Therefore, I run full scans on the computer. Nothing comes up and the problem continues. As it turns up, my computer(the external components) were clogged up with dust. Therefore, I had to take it apart and clean the computer. Of course, the most embarrassing part was that I called a technician here, for this simple solution. The moral of the story that even the external part of the computer needs to be cleaned. Get some compressed air and spray out the dust. They recommend every two months at least, but I do it slightly more in the warm weather. It will save you a lot of grief in the long run, trust me, I learned this lesson the hard way and will keep up with cleaning the external components of the computer.

i didnt for myself but working as tech support i think that the most anoying problem was those spywares that install in the messenger that pop up comments like "hey i found a funny picture of you (and a link)" those are really difficult to eliminate and i had to spend days with one case.

The most annoying PC/laptop problem I have encountered is windows updating and resets all of a sudden. I had this problem for like months. Then, I decided to do a fresh install which luckily fixed it.

anything that has to do with virus certainly annoys me. if i want to delete something and it cant be deleted because of a virus or something, that alone annoys me. even the sound that it produce like the error kinda sound, if you know what i mean. i also hate these updates or scans that keeps popping up.

I use computer everyday. I repair different computer problem in my work. The only problem that annoy me,is having a very old computer. I encounter a computer in this day a pentium 3 computer. It is very slow. When I want to add some memory on it, it is very difficult to find a sdram memory. Nowadays it is obsolete and no computer shop selling this. The other things is when there is no available motherboard driver for an old one. That's it.

Mine was forwarding the ports to allow bittorrent. It was downloading fine and than this warning message appeared that there's a problem with connection and download speed was slow. Than i read that you have to forward ports and went to portforward but i couldn't find my router and so on. In the end i found out that the only thing wrong was that my windows firewall was turned back on(probably by my sister) and that was causing problems. It took me 5 hours and i had the same problem twice so far. That's the worst thing i remember. And i also spend ages figuring out why my pc is so loud and noisy and after a few months of cleaning it and so on i finally bought new cpu fan and it works better now. Have a great day

I think the most annoying thing that I have encountered with my PC has something to do with a virus. I dont know what the virus is but it was something that automatically turns your computer off after you turn it on. I always have to resort to reformatting the computer and I hate doing that.

i think trojans too. i have had some annoying experiences installing os and trying to get brand new graphics card to work. actually one of the most annoying problem i've had with computers is trying to get wlan to work. but setting up wlan nowadays is probably so much easier.
