I commend your effort and wish there was something I could do to help. I would recommend you join your local freecycle group. It is a yahoo group. Members give away items they no longer want or need. You can also request items you are looking for. Also try the free section of the craigslist in your area. I myself have gotten many items for free or almost free by shopping sales or clearance sections of my local supercenters, pharmacies, and supermarkets. Good luck!

Blessed are your heart, rarely do we see or hear people donate things to the less fortunate. You can probably start by scouting websites where you can donate these things to kids in Uganda. There are also international organization or charities that help specifically Uganda kids, try to coordinate with them so you can be sure your donations would reach the appropriate persons. You can also get referrals from them on what would be the nearest station where you can drop your donations. Good luck!
