What do i need to know so that i can be a confident system administrator?

Im having a hard time convincing myself that i graduated in that course.. because that is my major.. My brother has a has introduce me to a friend and she said that she would hire me as a system administrator there in her company.. in my mind im very nervous because to be honest im really not confident in that field.. but it was an oportunity that i should take because until now i have no job.. can you help me what do i need to know so that i would be a full pledge system admin? because our school is poor they have no tools in network administration that is why i have no background in most kind of things.... pls help... thank you for reading...

Lack of your school's utilities is not enough reason for not having enough knowledge in that field. It's all within you. If you really want to learn more and improve your skills, that's good. By the way, where did you graduate from? What's your Major? Maybe you can get some trainings and crash courses. You need to learn about basic Network troubleshooting, basic hardware and software. It is advisable for you too to learn and memorize windows inside and out. You can take a MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) examination. Good luck! ;)

well you need to make a quick review on something that might help you with your work and also try to be more attentive when your in training.
