Every one has their own "saving" trick in life: the water for washing rice is used again for watering flower; the dirty water after washing clothes will be reserved to flush the toilet; having car pool or sharing meals.... in the current age when the price is roaring, how to make our life more comfortable and save the cost as well by saving ? "We should be aware that it is not easy to obtain porridge and rice or cloth and thread/" In a sense, thrifty itself is saving. Please share your trick of saving with us.

i have no choice but to be. we visit the library each week for reading materials and movies. we shop at thrift stores, we are careful with what we buy, shop at sales and are careful with our money. i also shop for christmas all year round which saves a ton of money! then i can shop at sales!

I love going to the library! It's warm in winter, cool in summer, it's free! Our family visit the library once a month and borrow a trolley load of books each time. Lots of fun and lots of good reading!

I am certainly frugal. I like to save money but at the same time I don't like to waste things. I even cut the toothpaste tube in two near the end to make sure it all gets used. I use cashback sites for everything I buy online and I'll always look for something free or second before I commit to spending money. If I have something I don;t need myself, I'll try to swap for something that is useful to me if a friend wants to swap. I think people like to have new things and always want to the most modern thing even if this causes them to buy on credit or borrow off others. I prefer to wait and buy things when they become cheaper.

On my part, in order to save, I'm turning on one light which can lighten the entire living room and nearby rooms and turning of lights when theres nobody around, AC is also turned off during early hours of the morning when it's not really that hot yet, and I buy vegetables that does not easily expire.

Yes, every body has different frugal ways to save money. In the light of the present roaring prices, Personally,I do as following: First, when I want to buy clothes,I am not willing to spend more money buying some expensive clothes or brands, but to buy the clothes which are at discount. If so ,I can save much money which will be used to buy other daily things. Second,if I want to buy some appliances for living, I often go to the market to purchase some used ones as long as their functions are still good. That is ok for me. Third, I am used to recycle the useful waste to save money. Last,in daily life water will be used again and gain, such as flushing the toilet using the dirty water, watering the flowers and so on.

1.If you do not like using web program to budget, another way to cutting spending quickly is to begin writing down every single thing you spend money on for a week. This is a reflective way to helps you curb spending and think twice about your purchase. 2.it's more than a budget. it's lifestyle. after creating you budget, the most important thing is taken active steps towards changing your life style so it's easier to follow,if you stop coffeee each morning, or you consider invest a programable coffee machine that brews great coffee. Finding ways to make that budget a long term habit without sacrificing you enjoy thing is the key to lifetime saving.

I don't make unnecessary trips outside. Somehow it helps me save money because I don't get to see things that I'd be tempted to buy. As for the water and electricity resources, the saving tips are all over the net. I just pretty much follow whichever I can, as much as I possibly could. But my facebook addiction is one thing i just can't give up...at least not now. I'm glad I'm using a laptop instead of a desktop pc, they say it's more energy-efficient.

I do my best to buy stuff when they happen to go on sale at the local store or market. Then if I am able to find stuff that have coupons for them then it would be an extra bonus savings for me when I have to buy it and use it at the cashier. I try not to use too much of the stuff I have so I don't become wasteful with it.

I like to think I am. Though I can't say that I'm perfect at it. I get food and such at places where the prices are cheepest. And, actually some (most) of the food is actually better then the higher-priced stuff. Though the wash and stuff I don't worry about, two dollers three times or two every other week to use the larundry mat. Personally that's too high, but eh I don't really have a choice. I try to do without AC unless its real hot or I'm real uncomfortable. turning off fans when not in the room, lights, keeping them to a minium and waiting to the last minute to turn them on. It reduces the power bill greatly.
