I have bought my mobile 2 years ago. Recently its battery is getting too low and it is taking too much time to get charged. I have to connect it all night to let it charge. what can I do in such a situation? Should I get a new battery for the mobile?

Most cellphone batteries lose their capacity if not charged only after proper discharge..memory effect You should buy two batteries..and an external charger.. In this way you can use the battery till fully discharged... This gives battery longer life, prevents memory effect.. have a great day/night.........

well they say a standard cellphone battery will last just for a year, i think you should buy another one and just put that battery on your bag as a backup and such.

You probably do need a new battery, though it may be possible the phone could have some problems. Do you have any type of warranty on your phone? If you are with a major carrier, they may trouble shoot your phone for free, or perhaps charge a small fee to see what is wrong with it. Take it in and let them have a look at it. If it is a problem with the phone, getting a new battery will not solve it.

This means that your battery is dieing, all batteries will go bad at some point, no battery is meant to last forever. You will just have to go purchase another battery, but it really isn't worth it, considering that you could put that money into a new phone.

I purchased my phone in March of this year, so I haven't had any problems with the battery so far. I will wait until I get the low battery warning before I charge it up again, as that is what is best for it. My battery holds the charge for a few days, before I have to charge it back up. I hope the battery does last for a long time as I don't want to replace it or the phone to soon. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I guess you buy a new battery to check if it will solve your problem if it wont then maybe you should buy a new cellphone.

yes, i think you need to buy a new one since your battery is 2 years old. batteries have expiration too. if you don't have money to buy yet, after you re-charge your battery, put it on the fridge, that may give your battery a longer life.
