Is their a program out there to make a image of a hardrive? and is freeware?

want an easy ,and fast program that can do this particular task.

I would recommend you to use poweriso. it is an image maker and a virtual disk software. I use it very often.

I also use Acronis True Image in such situations. But Norton Ghost is the oldest one (maybe the first) out there.

i dont know that yet but creating and image saves it as an ISO like cd image so i think its quite the same..try nero or any iso makers

I suggest Easeus Disk Copy - It's apparently free and does booting backups. http://www.download.com hosts it. :-)
