Do you think Cappello was justified to omit Walcot in his final squad?

I am not surprised at all. In fact at the back end of the season, Walcott's peformance for Arsenal was very inconsistent. Except for that one great performance against Barcelona, he was actually poor. He was again poor in both the matches for England. So I guess Capello is right in making the choice which though tough on Theo is actually a fair call. Cheers! Ram

He must have good reasons, I think Walcott was going to be for sure at the WorldCup. In my point of view, I see surprises in the list such as left back Stephen Warnock, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joe Cole, I admit that Joe Cole is a terrific player, but he hasn't been playing well last season after his injury and Wright-Phillips has always been with a question mark. I consider good Warnock because is a great defender that can replace Ashle Cole when needed. Cheers!

I don't know why Capello justified to omit Walcot and D.Bent. I think the two players have a great skill. D.Bent is a good striker and productive at the last season. Walcot also a young man with a good spirit and power. I think Capello has a good reason for that.

Probably, Walcott has had a few games to impress recently and hasn't really set theworld alight. He needed a decent performance and it didn't come. People keep refering to the hat trick in Croatia, but that was about 18 months ago now. However I don't think Lennon as done a great deal nor as SWP to be perfectly honest.

i certainly do feel Walcott is d most over hyped played in the world.. he bugger can jst run for it and then wen he has to deliver the final ball god only knws wat happens to him.. he cant shoot straight and neither can he cross the ball.. Wenger should be faulted for not training him in these dept.. his pace is all that he can use and will not last forever.. Capello has so many wide options wid pace and technique he doesnt need walcott.. in fact we talking abt him in dis forum itself makin him like a "superstar".. hehe
