KAV and KIS are the best solutions. As well - Kasperky Antivirus and Kaspersky Internet Security, but sometimes It is too heavy for old computers, so next solution after Kaspersky for me is NOD 32 Business Edition. I have tried AVG Antivirus, but I had serious problems after uninstalled It, because when I tried to install new antivirus software, It had detected, that AVG is still installed. So beware with AVG Antivirus.

I'm using the new version of avast free, and I found it the best anti-virus ever. I don't have to reformat my PC anymore because It's virus free and stable since I install this anti-virus. Good Day..

I have avast free edition in my laptop. Fastly scanning your system from malware, adware, etc and not load your RAM. The best thing is you can updating offline like kaspersky's so it would be faster and save your bandwitch. You can find that in avast's site updated everyday. Have a nice day.

Me too im using avas now since my avira anti virus is so weak. When i installed avas and run a scan it detected more than 2 malwares in my computer and it even prevent the trojan to download from the net.

No one suggest that even you have an Antivirus in your computer you need a backup against Malware and trojan , all Antivirus are really cannot filter all the virus when the virus is inside your computer you need a backup plan. I do have Avira in one of my computer then in my other is Comodo security. But the real good matchup for anitvirus is what I use to used is MalwareBytes and Glary's Utilities for a long time now and if Trojan and Malware keeps on going in my computer i just run both of them, the same time they will surely filter those trojan and Malware.

At home we used the AVG free edition and we never have any problems with viruses so far. But I noticed most of the internet cafes in our neighbor use Avast, some are using paid version and some say they are using the free version and it works for them so far. ^_^

Yeah. Avira will do the job very nicely. For good free anti-viruses.. You use Avira ,Avast ,or Kaspersky. Notice I didn't say avg. That's because it misses a good amount of bad stuff and it's also kind of a resource hog. and I test my anti-virus software by actually downloading viruses and trojans on purpose. :D and to get rid of spyware and malware,You use Malwarebytes . org and also Spybot search and destroy. safer-networking . org

Avast is very good. It does exactly what I want it to - runs in the background without taking up a lot of resources or being at all noticable, but occasionally it will flag up a danger and allow me to abort the connection while I'm still safe. You can download it from avast.com. It does say you need a key code, but upon registering this is emailed to you for free.
