law inforcment

is there any law inforcment officers out there?i have a friend that is in law inforcment he has seen a few chilren murders in our area and i am afraid this has greatley hurt him.i know you have training for these things but is there any kind of counceling for him if he would ever except. he is very mixed up right now and to top it all off he is now going threw a divorce and the election that his deputy is runing against him is coming up in 6 days i am afraid if he does not win this it may send him over the edge.i have ofered to pray with him and be a friend to him he will some times draw near but will pull away again. i just hear so many things about policeman ending thier lifes or falling in to depresion i just do not know how to help.how would you go about helping?thank you so much for responding.

I bet when he took the job he has some idea what he's going into. I guess he's just gonna have to fix himself up before his election. That's the only way he'Ll get through it.

yea i am sure he did .i guess it really hits when it happens in reality.i dont know i guess your right he will need to get him self togeather and i guess push the pride aside and ask for some help.

If he isn't tough enough on the inside to handle cases like this, then I think your friend should try to change career. Law enforcers are expected to be physically and emotionally. One can't be too weak here since they will be dealing with problems and crimes.

i understand but dont even our military break down some times during war. i guess maybe i am the weak one feeling really bad for him going threw a bad time i can tell he is hurting.
