Ask yourself am I happy with this person? What would i do for them? Does he/she make me smile hen they are happy or when they smile? Asking things like this will help you to understand if your truly in love. There is not a proven way to tell if your in love but the best advice I can give you is to follow your heart. Thats how me and my husband got together and we have been married for 12 years!

When you want to spend every single waking moment with them, and they are all you can think about.
You wake up in the morning and they are the first thing you think about, and the last thing you think about before you fall asleep.
When your feeling down and you see them and you automatically feel happy and forget your previous worries.
Can they always make you laugh/smile and when they are sad does it make you sad to see them sad
