Now we know what U.S. officials have been asking themselves since British Petroleum’s oil rig blew up in the Gulf of Mexico April 20: What Would James Cameron Do? The feds invited the CGI maestro and “Avatar” director for a visit Tuesday to discuss ways to plug the titanic hole that’s been leaking millions of gallons of oil into the Atlantic Ocean. Sure, Cameron, the deep-sea diver who plumbed the depths for his “Ghosts of the Abyss” , has some nifty underwater toys but what’s he going to do? Go down there and yell “Cut!”? The fact that the American Government ’ve turned to Cameron to solve the biggest oil spill in U.S. history proves one thing: He is the king of the world lol...chuckle... Cameron is just the latest Hollywood honcho offering to help cork the flow. Kevin Costner invested in a device that separates oil from water, and Victoria Principal donated $200,000 to the cause. Still, if Cameron can fix this, imagine the possibilities. 1. Martin Scorsese heads the FBI 2.“The Hurt Locker” director Kathryn Bigelow takes the helm in Afghanistan 3. Weinstein brothers could produce, because God knows things over there are way over budget and behind schedule. In the movies, anything is possible. dont you think so.. lol
