Ebay or Amazon

My husband and I have a stack of games we'd like to sale. The place we usually sale games to has closed down recently, and so we are going to have to resort to selling the games online most likely. My question is, which one is better to sale with Ebay or through Amazon? We have an amazon account (buyers not sellers) but we don't have an ebay account. We've not come up with a price yet, but I am sure that we will soon once we get a nice bundle to sale. So what are the pros and cons of selling with each of these two companies?

I just found out that to sell anything on ebay, you have to first buy at least 10 items and you must also get 10 good reccomendations from those purchases, as well. Seems stupid to me.

That is really stupid, but I don't understand ten good reccomendations for what? Not shorting the sellers? Hmm... So tell me more about this kijiji, it's free huh?

Why would it be my choice? What are the pros and cons according to you, of using Ebay?

But what about this ten purchase and ten recomendation thing I hear about it? Undoubtedly one must buy ten items from ebay, and have ten good recomendations as a purchaser, I suppose. Well I mean it seems nice that the sale can really go either way, a nice big outcome, or even a small outcome.

Well, as far as I know Amazon.com opens doors to sell only new stuff and products. Ebay on the other hand opens doors for particular people like you and I to sell anything as an auction mode. You don't have to have a set price, once you get a bid its up to a winning bidder how your sale outcome goes. I found the process is rather simple to get it going as well and cost is very affordable.

I'd go for Ebay too. Read quite a number of success stories of sellers over the internet; so I think this the best bet.. if you've no buyers, you can switch over to Amazon..

A lot of people prefer selling on Amazon and buying on eBay..or is it vice versa, I might be wrong.. I like products on Amazon and eBay; a mix varieties... can go crazy browsing though. You are right; there are some great bargains on eBay for sure..

That's true, if I don't get any buyers on ebay I can switch to amazon. I'll have to read up on how long before I can unlist the item on ebay, never had an account for ebay before. Thanks for the suggestion.

I know we have a stack of several games we would like to sell, along with our Game Cube since we can play Game Cube games on the Nintendo Wii,and it sucks that our favorite store for buying and selling games closed down, and if I had to pick one I would rather sale on Amazon because I think you can trust people more on there and on Ebay since it is a bidding site you never know how much you are gonna get, even though thankfully you came up with another store we could sell them to so maybe we can take them over there tomorrow or something,I love you with all of my heart and soul.

Yes and we can put whatever we get out of the selling of the games and gamecube to good use as we can use it for the t.v. or even for a bill we have to pay. I guess if we dont' go tomorrow we can go some other day, maybe talk to rickey and see what if anything he wants to sell.

Ebay has generally been a better website for me to use personally. I like the sales formats and the amount of buyers that see your listings.

Okay, I appreciate your opinion. I just thought of another way we could sale the games we want to sale, so that will be next on our list if we decide not to use either of the two online ways.

I'd have to disagree on the buying aspect as I have heard people have gotten scammed, but as for the selling, I sure hope it's worth it.
