Gay as leader of the Department

Is it OK for you if the leader of one Ministry or Department of the country is gay or lesbian?

I believe its okay. Because they also have the same rights as straight people have. If they have the capability, skills and talent to do so, then why not? They might even do better than the straight person who took his/her place.
