Just saw today in a news paper that Yuvraj singh was supporting BCCI's stand for not sending a team for the Asian Games ..... Representing One's Country is a sense of Pride for Everyone and that should come as the first priority over everything in life , especially if you are a sportsperson.... The Kind of pride and joy that one gets in representing his nation cannot be equalled with money and other stuff... It's really disheartening to see BCCI not going to send a Team for the Asian Games ...They have cited some petty reasons for that ..... Everybody knows BCCI is the Powerhouse of Cricket as of today ....When they could bend the Fixtures and international commitments over IPL , Why not for this one... And this Bloody Guy Yuvraj Singh supports it just to keep his plac e in the XI ... It's high time Senior Players Voice against this .... What's your Views ??

Yuvraj was in a fix whether to answer or not when confronted by the mediamen. If he had said that he loves to play in the Asian games then his career as a cricketer would have been over by now.Thats why all Indian players keep mum when they are playing for their country even if they have the wish to play for India.Sachin's reaction would also have been the same.

yes what you say is true, but he has to fear only because of his actions. nobody can keep a "six hitting yuvraj" out of the team for long.but a "yuvraj on duck" pretty much yes...he has to fear the bcci only because he has lost his form completely, moreover he has become fat that probably explains how much he trains to regain that form.he will be in the team if he deserves to be.what you are saying proves that he acted for himself ,an act of selfishness.not for the best interest of the country.

Boss if you are working for a private firm, and if firm wants you work for a foreign client instead of a Indian client. Then you will happily accept that offer, you know why because you may get chance for onsite and you can make good money. But you know if you will work here, you cant make good money. Then why are you scolding Yuvraaj. He is also working in aprivate firm. He is also like us. So, it is part of job.

I Thank you for your opinion ...but i beg to differ in the sense that Representing your country differs vastly from Working for Indian Client ... By working for a Indian Client you don't represent your country in your work , rather your employer... It's like a player choosing to play in the county over his state side.... One Don't get ofeten the honour of representing your country , be it at any level ...It's an honour beyond Money ....

well said speedblitz...agree with you 100%.its not just a comman mans job.it is clear that mr saurabh also agrees on the fact that the players are playing for money.then what the debate about.one can draw conclusions on people who spend more time counting money than training to play for the country.money over country, what a disgrace.

Although the indian team is playing under a borad(bcci) the whole population of india consider these players who play with soul and heart for the pride of india. but now yuvi backs BCCI, its not fair. he is firt an indian, then a player playing under BCCI. I think that these players play for money not for nation. you are right seniors should make presure on BCCI and make a team for asian games.

Do you think that Yuvrak alone can influence BCCI not go for Asian Games, not at all possible. I do think that Yuvraj should have supported Asian tour but that is not true if he could decide the tour. Being a caption he might do so but he is just a team memebr, we should not blame a player alone, its just bloody BCCI and politicians all around making cricket a joke. Every day there is a headline about IPL, cricket team, BCCI, Modi, Pawar and you name anything related to cricket.

For me this is not a shocking news...i know whats indian players want money and money they didn't have any feeling for their nation .For them money is all...their mother, father, brother, country. They know they will not get a good money by representing their nation in asian games.
