It's amazing how sometimes our kids' laughter and playful shouts and voices seem to be impressed on the walls of our house. You seem to hear them even when they're away, and you miss them. My wife and I often talk about our kids, and we often say a prayer for them--that God raise them up to be his godly, anointed servants. And I like talking about them in my website!

Yes indeed even when they aren't around you can hear their voices seep through the walls. It often happens to me wherein I hear him even if he is not around. I tend to miss him more when that happens and so I usually cannot stand it when he went for a ride with my in-laws. You are correct lowlycook that we can only pray to God that we have raised them well to go on and live their own lives when they are in the right age. I often pray nowadays especially when you see what the world has to offer.

I think that having one kid makes a house a lot more of a warm homely sort of place. Having two or more kids makes a house a really enjoyable place to be. I love to see my children happily playing together. My daughter is almost one year old and she likes to dance. My toddler son plays with toy cars and a toy fire engine. I love to hear him laugh and see him smiling. I am happy with my teenage son when he is helpful around the house. It must be a shame when the children are grown up and they leave home. The house must become really quiet then.

Hi! I don't have kids right now but I do want to have one someday. I have been married for almost three years, and we are not yet blessed with children yet. I just wished that I will become a mother soon. I really do want to have kids.

They sure do, and when they are gone (a day or two, or grown) the home get way to quite. Yes, I often talk about my son, DIL and grandchildren. They are my life.
