dOes the rich have moral responsibility to the poor??

for me they dOnt,but through thier awareness and willingness to help those poor people is much better than thinking that it is just a responsibility..

A rich will not accept this. A poor man may think like this. It may not be a moral responsibility, but can be a social responsibility.

for me..if rich people are willing to see the other side of the world they would realize how lucky they are for having with thier shoes right now..its a social responsiblity.. yes! but for me a moral responsibilty also because not all people here in this world has a capability to help the poor except those "RICH" one..anyway, i also consider you opinion..thanks!! ^_^

hi,ace,yes,they have like government also...but that help must be to line on their own in their lives..but not the help is used for them temporarily....like giving food,money... All the best and have a nice time.

yes..its nice to become a light in a dark room!! i hope government should be aware about POVERTY and i wish they can do some solutions on that..but anyways thanks 4 the comment..

i think it is not only their responsibility to help the poor ,i feel that we all from different backgrounds should come together and work towards the betterment of the downtrodden in unision and make them lead a decent living ... so join hands and and initiate something like the Joy Of Giving Week wherein people from different backgrounds come forward and help the needy in ways that they can be it in cash or in kind
