My mom definately played favorites. Just because I'm the only daughter does not mean that I was the favored one. I know it caused a lot of resentment growing up. I've worked hard to be able to let it roll off my shoulders, but once in awhile it still comes up. I try to move on from it as quickly as possible.

No, neither of my parents played favorites..my sis's say I got away with more cause I was the baby, but they didn't really play favorites they loved us all equally.

I think my parents did. Or my mom did, anyway. It might not have been made obvious she was playing favorites, but I always had the feeling. My younger sister would always get the all the praise and attention growing up. I now have a lot of resentment towards my sister cuz she seems to have it all. Other than the fact she's a spoiled brat. Everything seems to come so easily to her. *sigh*
