I respect Maradona more for his Football skills rather than Coaching ...I don't think he makes a good coach ...
My Favourites this year are Brazil and spain ...Let's See !!

Yeah I Agree ,but the role of a coach is to guide and discipline the team and not lead it ...This is where I Think Deigo has some shortcomings compared to other coaches ....
Also he is a Little inexperienced in handling a high profile team and that too in a very tough and large competition like this !!
I would also feel happy , if he proves his critics wrong ...Let's see ...

i agree if maradona doesn't have a good quality as a good coach
we can see it from his decision to not call javier zanetti and esteban cambiasso into argentinian squad

I don't think Maradona will any prizes as a great coach. But what he will bring to the table is prior experience of winning the World Cup. He will also be able to inspire the players, but on strategy he needs to have a very good backup staff to really help him out. But given the mentality of the Argentinian players it was a risk worthwhile taking to make Maradona the coach.
Cheers!

This is his first "real" experience as a coach because he only trained for a few matches two regular teams in Argentina. It's kind of like Klinsmann with Germany in the last WorldCup, although I think Germany had better assistant coaches behind Jürgen. But after all, maybe Maradona gets with his own and Argentina does a great World Cup, let's not forget that their goal is to win the World Cup, so we'll se what happens with them.
Cheers!
