Do you ever purchase medication from oversea

United States

I am living in the states, and I heard people bought medicines from oversea, usually with a cheaper price. I would wonder those medicines bought from oversea would achieve the same effectiveness from those medicines from here? Because I heard some many scams, and they sale medicines online with inferior quality which scares me. I guess the safest place to bought medicine if necessarily from oversea would be Canada. What do you think?

I think you have to be careful, as I have heard that sometimes these medicines are fake... I think I would rather pay the extra, or get a prescription knowing exactly what I am getting than to buy a cheaper version not knowing what it might do to me, I don't think it is a risk worth taking.

I used to get general OTC medicines from India ...through friends who visit their families there for Holidays.... I am From India I Know the Brands well and also these brands are of world repute only...it's a bit cheaper compared to here and also Iam a bit concerned about the dosages prescribed here...I don't know about others.... But other than the OTC's i take personal care in getting medicines on my own.... I don't buy any medicines Online ...I directly go the stores like Walgreens for the same...
