As I grew up, life has taught me many things. At the younger age 13-14, I was such a lier, I used to speak lie, because I wasn't aware about the thing that how it can be dangerous to life. But when I read the auto biography of Mahatma Gandhi, who was votary of Truth and Non-violence, I realized that how it is great to pursue truth in usual life. It can save you from many difficulties, I accept that it isn't so easy to pursue the truth it life, but you can get success with being conscious with it. For me, I always try to speak truth at usual life, though I can't say that I got 100% success but I can say that I got 75-80 percent success with it. Well, there must be many things which life has taught you, can you please share it here? Because it will help me as well as other members who are conscious to make life better and better. Seeking your experiences with life...........

Hi friend, I am very happy that autobiography of great leader like Mahatma Gandhi, has changed your life for better. As regards me, in my childhood i have been imbibed value of truth, honesty and integrity, and therefore, they have become integral Part of life. Yes But life has taught me many important lessons few of them are 1. If you want to remain Happy stay contented. 2. You will derive more pleasure and happiness when you help some one in need. 3. If you look beyond yourself, you will find you are much better than many others. 4. Honesty pays in longer Term 5. To work with full dedication and leave result to GOD is best way to keep going in tough time. Happy mylotting

My friend, I am glad to know that you have imbibed such values at your childhood. You've said right there's pleasure in Giving. That sentence touched my heart that "Honesty pays in longer term". That was really touching. "Honesty is the best policy" Thanks for sharing your valuable experiences.

I normally avoid telling lie but from my life experience I found that if I want to speak truth to someone then I cant tell them straight (if its bad for them)I have to speak in flattering way or tilt the finger...

Hi, I agree with the fact that life teaches one a lot of things as it progresses. We are just like a seed who keeps growing to one day become a massive tree, while some remain as plants. It's so cool that you experience different things and keep growing on the way. Also, you rightly said that saying the truth is the biggest virtue. Saying the truth is the only thing which can get you out of trouble, unlike pushig you into it as many people think. I haven't read Bapu's auto biography yet, but would definitely read it someday. I used to ponder as a young child why others could achieve more and me less. Then my dad told me that what one lacks in natural intelligence could be made up by hard work and application.I have tried this many a time in my life and the results are a lot better than when i didn't work hard. After truth i give importance to this positive feature in life.

Life is really wonderful provided you have that creativity towards the life you are leading. I learn t many many practical lessons from my past life, how to talk with people, whom to help, what type of charity we should do,and n number of things. Well I became a strong rock who can face anything life. Until the in and out of breath stops life is full of learning. If you live ion this spirit you are the happiest person.
