Hi,
We often look to our history and see some great personalities who had changed the world. They made their unique contribution to shape the world. These great men had some unique quality in themselves.
I want to start a discussion about them. Which historical great personality is your IDOL? Please specify What he done for the society or world or your country? Why do you think that he is your IDOL? What unique quality he/she had? Did he/she believe in GOD?
Please share your thoughts about this.
If you have more than one IDOLS then also you tell all about them.
To start, my IDOLS are - Swami Vivekananda, Chhatrapati Shivaji, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein.
Swami Vivekananda - The Indian monk who experienced the ultimate truth of the universe. He reached the goal of self-realization. He knew what the GOD is. He traveled to western countries and taught their about the Hindu Religion and VEDANTA. He is one of the most important spiritual personalities of India.
Chhatrapati Shivaji - The King of Maratha Empire (1600-1700) of India. He successfully saved his empire alone from the attacks of Mughal and Nizams and British.
Mahatma Gandhi - Greatest freedom fighter of India. He believed in non-violance. Worked mostly in South Africa and taught them how to live without racism.
